Adnan Şahlanoğlu founds the company. The first line of work is land development.
Mass housing begins
Large estates are built in İstanbul and Bodrum; the smallest has 400 homes.
Şahlanoğulları İnşaat Ltd.
The family business turns into professional contracting; the group starts working as main contractor.
Incorporation
Experience, the engineering team and equity are brought together under the Şahlanoğlu Group of Companies.
Second generation, multi-segment investment
Serhat Şahlanoğlu and Gökberk Şahlanoğlu take over management. The group moves into shopping centres, mixed-use schemes, hotels, residences and villas.
The birth of SAGA
The companies come together under the SAGA name, taken from "Şahlanoğlu Gayrimenkul".
The 2030 goal
The goal: keep running construction, real estate, energy, technology and finance as one group, and grow in each.
